Well sis,There have been many instances in which people who said they were Born again..became demon possesed.
Likewise they have been many who were once demon posssed who were saved from such and became born again in Christ...which comes only through full Repentance of sins and asking God for his forgiveness and help..in water and of the Spirit of God.

We know by the WORD, that Satan goes around looking for belivers to hunt down and trap either in his lies and deceptions to lead away from the truth or he finds some fleshly weakness within them to find a way to posses them..a thing which demons love to do to human beings who are opened up to them unaware.

And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits
and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went
seven devils," Luke 8:2, KJV

Christ Jesus warned us that if we any of us ever became possessed and got saved from it..to becareful not to leave ourselves ever again opened up to be filled by one ever again,but to make sure we are filled(fully furnished) with the Spirit of God so there is no room for evil to enter in to make habitation.

14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb.
And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.



Aa a Testimony,I've had a family member who said he was born again..showing himself as devout but was carrying a form of weakness of the spirit within him,leaving himself opened up for demonic posssesion which almost killed him.

Thank God he was helped to be able to share his testimony of his salvation with others..he knows that he must never ever let down his guard to any will of the devil.

Thank God he is able to help all who seek,love and call upon him and deliver them from the demons which surround us.

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one
of you is a devil?" John 6:70, KJV

Believers are told to RESIST the devil, not Cast him out. No where in the New Testament does it speak of casting out a demon from a believer.

Possession is "control" having a demon come in and control your thoughts and actions. If the believer has the Holy Spirit/God living in them, to have a demon, GOD himself would have to be absent from that body.


I agree with Bella, there are those who say they are believers, but in reality are not.

However, I do believe that a born again believer can be demon OPPRESSED and if you don't resist, the enemy will stick around and try to devour. I also think that unless you have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that you can indeed be possessed. Impossible however, as Kelly and Bella said if you have the Spirit of God inside of you.
